In 1975 a Federal Law was inacted making it illegal to sell a "pet" turtle or tortoise with a shell size of less than 4 inches, except for educational and scientific purposes.

It is completely legal for a private individual to own a baby turtle so long as you understand owning it is for personal education or scientific purposes.

This document is universal among lawful companies selling under 4 inch turtles/tortoises.

    One late night I all of a sudden decided that wanted a sulcata tortoise. I started searching the web for a good website until I found this site. It had great prices compared to some of the adds that I've seen on google. The ordering was simple and quick. I was also very impressed with the fast shipping considering the fact of the long journey it made to get to Texas. And to this day my sulcata is in great health and is very happy.     I was looking for a Sulcata Tortoise for a while and I found this website. The price beat every other website I went too! Even better, when my tortoise arrived at my house, (the next morning!), he was healthier than ever!
