Last fall I ordered 4 hatchling sized Plumed Basilisks from FH. Unfortunately, they all turned out to be male. But they were extremely healthy and ravenous eaters. Not a year later, they are developing beautiful crests and striking colors. But they are extremely territorial and fight, so I had to separate them--not easy, as they require a lot of room. They are not pets, but make beautiful display animals. Even my tamest must be handled (gently) with gloves because of his razor-sharp nails, even though he never attempts to bite. I never tire of watching these gorgeous, prehistoric looking creatures.
