    Its very pretty with its shiny blue legs, multiple colors and breathtaking appearence. But the Cobalt Blue (H. lividum) is aggressive, very fast, and it has potent venom. NOT A SPIDER FOR THE BEGINNER!!! if youre a beginner and youre lookin at this spider, i reccomend not this one, but get a Pink Toe, Mexican Redknee, or Chilean Rose Hair, those ones are docile. I DO NOT RECCOMEND HANDLING THE COBALT BLUE!!! Its a spider for show. They do not like to be bothered in any way, if you poke, tap it with something, even walking by its tank may provoke it to stand up in a threat position. When moving them out of the tank to clean it or for whatever reason you have to move the T, you have to be very carefull. Because its a defensive spider, and it will defend it's territory. So one way to move it would be to take a box, and very gently nudge the T into it, make sure the box or whatever you put the T into as youre moving it has breathing holes, that it is see through, and that it can not get out. Because that would be bad! lol. Last but not least, the enviornment for this T. The Cobalt Blue is a burrower, so have at least 3 - 5 inches of peat moss for it to dig, Humidity - 78% - 82% Temperature - 80 - 90 degrees, Tank Size - 10 gallon minimum, decorations are optional but i reccomend them. This is my review of the H. lividum, and I hope my info helped you.
