Do you have a guarantee or warranty?

YES!!!  We absolutely guarantee every reptile we ship will safely arrive alive and healthy!

We have a full 10 day return/replacement warranty!  If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your reptile simply login to your account (www.FloridaHerps.com) and under the Completed Orders area you can select Return Item.  We offer a money back option or store credit, this is up to you. Imported & Field Collected animals are refunded as store credit.  Photo of the deceased "Belly up" with our shipping label visible in the picture will be required for all refunds.  Any DOA's or Problems upon arrival must be communicated to us over the phone within 2 hours. 

Do you have a store where I can come pick up my reptile(s)?

YES!!!  You are more than welcome to vistit our facility.  We do ask that you call ahead of time to make sure someone will be available to assist you.  Our Reptile Ranch is gated and locked unless we know you are coming.  We offer a huge selection of high quality reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates as well as reptile supplies.

What shipping options do you offer?  (Shipping Policy)

Live Animals:

Same Day via Delta Air Cargo (delivered to your closest airport).  Prices average $99 to $135.  This is a great option for larger orders like Pet Shops or if your order contains a huge snake.

OR 

Next Day using FedEx Priority Overnight.  We offer a low flat rate of $39.95 for most orders.  Slightly more for orders containing alot of animals or very large/heavy animals.

Example Order:  2 Ball Python Babies, 1 Leopard Gecko Adult, 2 Baby Painted Turtles and Pink Toe Tarantula = $39.95!

How do you pack a reptile for shipping?  (Shipping Policy)

First thing we do is check your current local weather and the weather in Memphis, TN (FedEx's main hub).  Depending on the weather conditions along the trip we can determine which size box (we have 4 sizes), thickness of foam insulations (we have 3 sizes), number of heat or cold gel packs, and finally number and size of vent holes.  We NEVER charge you for shipping materials.

We are a Certified Reptile Shipper with FedEx and have over 15 years experience safely delivering reptiles to our customers.  We 100% Guarantee this service.

Honestly, you do not need to concern yourself with shipping.  We've been doing this for over 15 years!  Your new family member will arrive save and healthy guaranteed.  We had exacly 2 DOA's in 2009.  Those customers received free replacements the next day.

Do you breed your own reptiles?

No!  We hand pick our inventory from a select group of reputable breeders right here in Florida.  A few species we buy from experienced field collectors that lawfully acquire them (examples; Black Racer Snakes, Green Vine Snakes, Brown, Green and Cuban Knight Anoles, etc.).  We also hand select animals from a few importers here in Florida that we've had personal long time relationships with. 

This way we aren't stuck with dead eggs, still borns, defective animals or take the risk of importing ourselves and being stuck with sick, infected, dehydrated or dead reptiles.  Been there done that!

This is by far the best way to assure you get a high quality reptile! 

What if I want something not listed on your website?

We can acquire just about any Reptile, Amphibian or Invertebrate you can think of.  If we are simply out of stock, just click on the "Notify me" button and you'll get an email when we restock your item.  If you don't see what you are looking for, please just ask!  Give us a call or send us an email and we'll be happy to help you.  Contact Us.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes!  We offer discounts to Pet Stores, Zoos, Theme Parks, Public Aquariums, and Educational Institutions.  There is a $1000.00 Minimum for all Wholesale Orders.  Contact us for a Whole Account with access to discounted pricing.  Shipping Rates are also discounted.

We do require proof of your business or organization.  We will also need copies of your State (and in some states, your county) permit(s). 

Most Wholesale Orders are shipped SAME DAY via Delta Dash (Up to 50lbs).  Typical Pet Shop orders cost $120 to deliver to your closest air port. To ship same day orders must be completed before 12:00pm Eastern Time.  You must pickup you order within 1 hour of delivery.

We also accept Purchase Orders from established customers.  COD Orders are also permitted with approved customers.

Do you offer any discounts for Non-Profits?

Yes!  Not only non-profits, but military personal and teachers are offered discounts.  Please Contact Us for more information regarding discount accounts.

Will you buy my baby reptiles?

Maybe.  We never buy without seeing each and every animal first.  If you are outside of Florida then no.  If you are a well established breeder that we know of and you have some babies you want to sell and can provide detailed photos for each one, than perhaps.  Contact us with your request.

Do you ship to Hawaii?

YES!  However there are extra fees (Health Certificate) involved when importing a reptile into Hawaii.  Please Contact Us for more information.

Do you export outside the USA?

Yes!  There is a $4000 Minimum Order (At Wholesale Rates) & Buyer to Pay all Export Fees:

* Dept. Fish & Wildlife Inspection Fee = $200 

* Permit Fee for any CITES animals = $100

* Customs Brokerage Fee = $150

* Approved Shipping Crates = $25 ea.

* Actual Airline Fees

Can I have you delay shipping until I will be home to receive my new buddy?

Yes!  During the checkout process simply leave instructions for which day you would like us to ship your order.  We ship Monday - Thursday.  However if you wait too long and we run out of what you ordered, then we can refund you full purchase price or you can wait until we get more in stock.  We make our purchasing rounds every other week.  We also offer a Reptile Babysitting Service for about $2.00/Day.  During this time your animal will be housed seperately.  We email photos of your pets every 3 days so you can see them being properly taken care of by our extremely experienced staff.   Reptile Babysitting

Do you sell feeders for reptiles?

Yes!  We breed our own Crickets, Superworms, Harvester Ants, Wingless Fruit Flies, Mice, Rats and Chicks.  Local pickup by appointment only.  We DO ship feeders and are currently working to add these to our new website.  We use UPS Next Day Air for all insect shipments.  We 100% Guarantee Live Arrival of all insects.  We ship Monday-Wednesday.  Check back soon as we are adding feeder insects very soon - wholesale prices directly to you - overnight!  Local orders are fulfilled by locally bred crickets, internet orders are drop shipped directly for the nation's #1 cricket farm.  100% Pest Free Healthy Crickets Everytime!
