I want to thank you so much...u handled my confusion well as far as shipping to my job...the guys came by 1030am tues morning...all was well.....Cant thank you enough....Only would have liked there feeding schedule and what food u were feeding them..nothing came in the box....think about it......thanks again.......
Response from Florida Herps:
Thank you Candy.
There is no such thing as a "feeding schedule" for baby turtles, they are fed daily. Snakes are they only reptiles that need don't get fed every single day.
They are fed hatchling turtle pellets available at any pet store.

My little guys both got here safely. we had a couple problems but none of them were floridaherps fault. The FedEx apparently came to our house and we weren't there. not true we were there all day waiting for them. We called them several times. when I finally got them they were in perfect condition. they look great!

He arrived alive and well! He is so cute about the size of a quarter. He is very curious. I definitely recoment the musk turtle from this sight! He also loves the fake plants I have for him.

I bought 2 musk turtles. When they came they were great. Very small and cute. I enjoy watching them swim around the tank they seem to like to hang on my live plant floating around the top of the tank, and are eatting it .My only suggestion was when they were delivered there were no instruction on what to do I just place them on a floating dock In the tank and so far so good other then no instruction you will not be Disappointed in anyway

I purchased my Musk turtle 5-24-12. I received him today (5-25-12) and as soon as I put him in the tank he started eating. He seems VERY healthy. The only problem I had (which wasn't Florida Herps fault) was with FedEx. I didn't receive my Musk turtle until after 2:00pm and I was worried he wouldn't be alive when I opened the box. When you order overnight priority you are supposed to get your turtle by 10:30a.m but, like I said, I didn't have him until after 2:00pm. I have seen other reviews where people have had the same problem as me, but Florida Herps sells healthy and beautiful turtles and I will most likely be ordering from them in future. FedEx, on the other hand, needs to have better shipping arrival times.

i purchased 3 of these awesome guys about 1 year ago, they are very active and enjoyable to watch. about 3 months in 1 of them died :( but i knew he wasnt going to make it bc he hide and never eat. My other 2 turles are going stronge. they loving swimming and i recently got them to start chasing gold fish for a nice meal. RECOMMEND TO ANY TURTLE LOVER THAT LIKES TO EDUCATE THEMSELVES ON THESE AMAZING LITTLE CREATURES. also floridaherps is by far the best when it comes to pricing and customer service!!!

I have a 65 gallon tank housing a dozen baby turtles (all from FL Herps). there are 6 southern painteds, 3 mississippi maps, and three stinkpot musk turtles. The musk turtles are my favorites! They are very amusing and fascinating to watch. And they are SO tiny and cute. They are only about the size a nickel, and infinitely CUTE!!! They are the perfect little community turtles. Awesome!
